Do you want to get more out of networking? Are you new to networking and want to improve making quality connections? This event gives you the opportunity to let others know who you are and what you are looking for, whether new customers or clients or business or sales leads.
Join us at our next speed networking event - a fun, non-intimidating evening.
How does it work?
During each four-minute round you are one-on-one with a different participant. You introduce yourself and your purpose for being there, share your business card and perhaps, business brochure. A few questions and answers back and forth can quickly clarify if there is any potential for a follow-up phone call or meeting. At the halfway point, the conversation switches to the second person, who introduces themselves and their reason for attending. After the second exchange of information, the event leader rings a bell and you move on to the next person.
This is not your average networking event. Come prepared to meet people! During our structured event, you will meet everyone in the room, not just a select few. Join us for the opportunity to meet your next client or collaborator!
Due to the popularity and time constraints, tickets are limited.
Our January book is #ImpressYourself by Candance Thompson of Canvases with Candace. We are honored that Candace herself will be leading the discussion. Join us for insightful tidbits and great conversation!
#ImpressYourself is a guided conversation through a journey of self discovery. This book encourages readers to get to know themselves through a series of assessments and exercises; while using the author's personal experiences to guide the conversation. Candace takes us step by step through a specific period of her life. Using humor and images, she is able to show her readers how to reach their own “upward spiral.” These nine interactive chapters are designed to help the reader learn to worry less about impressing others, and learn to impress yourself.
A monthly writing session to get things done! Sometimes the hardest part of writing projects (grants, articles, proposals, blogs, anything) is carving out the time, eliminating distractions and just getting to work. Join us once a month for accountability, encouragement and a low to no distraction zone in CoCreate Lexington's Conference Room to focus and write.
Past participants will tell you that having a designated time and place to write and being around others is motivating and inspiring. Think about what you need to write and come join us!
